Yes, I Am Thankful

Yes, I am thankful for the life
I was given.
Yes, I know how blessed and lucky
I am to have the love of
my family.
Something I never take for granted.

But no matter how thankful I am
I still have this need to find
out who I am and where I come from.
If that makes me greedy and unappreciative
then I guess I am.
