You say, " what's the use
you don't believe me anyway?"

Well maybe your actions really
speak louder than your words.
Maybe what they pick up when
talking to you is coldness and
a strong desire to get away from
them.

Wonder why if love is supposed
to be there then why do they
pick up on so many mixed signals?
You say you want to be there with
them but you make up
excuse after excuse why you can't.

You want them to believe your promises
but they did for a why before it got
very evident that those promises were
empty and just a way to gain their trust
so they could leave them without a word.

Wonder why they find it hard to trust
anyone since you made a fool of them?
They aren't stupid ,they know it wasn't all
your fault that they too had a hand in
how things turned out.
But they knew too, you had a bird in the hand
and one in the bush so it didn't matter
if they were around or not.

They do wonder however if you ever think
about them or do you consider the time you
spent with them a nightmare?

Guess they will never know.
