Beneath the satin sheets of life.
Beyond the world of reality lies
a valley of temptation and dreams.
Dreams of what we can't have.

Underneath the stars on a cold
winters night a heart feels
the ache of loneliness.
It craves the soft, warm touch of
someone who cares and loves you.

Parades of wishes for something that
is out of reach.
The temptation to reach out to that
special person becomes so strong but
in your heart you know you must not
yield to temptation.

Your brain knows what is possible where
love is concerned but your heart still believes
all things are possible, even love.
We all walk the valley of temptation sometime
during our life.
Sometimes we give in and find the love we never
dreamed possible.
Still there are times we give ourselves to love believing
this love will last but in reality it's just a dream.
