The Long Road Home

Traveling the path of tomorrow
losing sight of today.
Losing ones way in the despair
of the past leaves tears and pain.

As you find your way out of the
darkness you will find a path
filled with hope and new light.
All is not lost if you believe
in your heart.

You know in your soul that
that the road back home may be
long but it will be worth the
travel.
No matter what you feel you
have done in your life.
No matter what pain you have caused
there is forgiveness.
First you must forgive yourself.

Look to a new day with anticipation
not with dread.
You will be fine I promise if you just
realize the road back home isn't
as long as you think.
There will be loved ones waiting to welcome
you with open arms.
Please believe this.

As I leave you today I will leave
you with a touch of my love.
I will smile as I look into your eyes
and you will feel my strength passing
through you and you will feel a new
beginning.....
The road back home calls to you.
Remember I will be traveling with
you if only in spirit.....
