Traveling down the path of life
we come in contact with
things that leave us puzzled.

Bumps and turns are a few of
the things that will cause us
worry until we figure out how
to solve what's blocking us
from staying on track.

We meet people along the way
and some we just feel an instant
connection with and some seem so
distant that your instinct keeps
you from trying to reach out to them.

Sometimes the anger a person carries
inside is a wall that it takes
patience and understanding to reach
them.
Maybe that person is longing for
someone to care enough to try
to break the barrier they have built.

The bridge between two souls
isn't a complicated one.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out
what it will take to cross that
bridge and show someone you truly
care.

People come with baggage of some
sort.
Baggage they want and need to
get rid of but how.
Friends helping friends.
People reaching out and taking
the hand of someone that needs
the guidance.

The bridge between two souls is worth
the time to walk.
Look into the eyes of your fellow man
and you will see a longing to have
someone truly care about them.
Someone that will at least try to
meet them half way on the bridge
between two souls.

No, I'm not lecturing or even preaching.
I'm just someone that has been waiting
for a friend to help bridge the gap
between my soul and theirs.
