She Is Daddy's Little
Girl![]()
Blond hair bouncing as
she followed
the handsome, tall man...her daddy.
Giggling as she kept asking.."Daddy
can I ride Gypsy please daddy please."
He looked into the eyes
of his precious
daughter and knew anything she wanted
was hers for how could he deny that sweet
innocent child anything.
This sweet child that called him,"Daddy".
Together they walked to the barn where
Gypsy was waiting for her little passenger.
Gypsy looked at them walking through the door
and it was like she smiled her biggest smile for them.
She loved that little girl too.
Daddy, I need to brush
Gypsy's mane first.
And put pretty ribbons of many colors in it.
He picked his daughter up and held her close
as she lovingly brushed Gypsy's mane.
There Daddy she looks beautiful doesn't she?
He saddled Gypsy up and
led her from the barn.
He lifted Whitney up in his strong, loving arms
and put her on Gypsy's back.
Whitney held on and talked to her very own horse
as they walked around the pasture.

Daddy watched with a
small tear knowing that
one day in the not too distant future Whitney
would be all grown up and wouldn't need him
to take her riding.
He would be giving his beautiful daughter to
the man she had chosen to be her husband.
When children are born
we look into their
eyes and believe they would stay a child
forever.
All too soon we realize that somehow when we
turned our backs for a moment they grew up.
We have gotten older...and soon grandkids and
great grandkids are riding horses across the
pasture.
Whitney is 3.
