The peace and serenity fills
the night like a warm cover.

It wraps around the soul and protects
it from harm.
The beauty of the night brings comfort
and such a feeling of being one with
the universe.

Close your eyes and dream.
Two souls together floating through
time.
So close but miles apart but still
they are one.

Put your hand in mine and let this special
time be ours for now.
Peace and serenity washes over us like
the warm spring rain and cleanses our souls.
