Melody Of Pain

It hums a tune of darkness
and serenades your soul.

There is no softness just
the pain from each note.

Like fingernails across the
blackboard it drives pain
deep within your mind.

The melody of pain crosses
lifetimes and there is no
stopping it.

The song of pain gets louder
as the heart crumbles into nothing.
Once again it takes another life
and it keeps humming it's
melody of pain.
