Quit begging for his
forgiveness.
Don't you know by now he
wanted an excuse to leave?

Give it up and move on with your
life just as he has.
Quit expecting miracles he isn't
coming back.
Don't give him the satisfaction
of seeing your tears and hearing
your cries from a broken heart.

Pick yourself up and look forward
not back to the things used to be.
Don't let him take what's left of your
self esteem.
Don't you know by now he was a player?
You believed everything he said.

You deserve better if you would just get
this loser out of your mind.
One day he will know he gave up the one
woman that loved him unconditionally.

Give it up and flush him from your mind
heart and soul.
Don't let him bring you down to his level.
Hold your head high and learn from
the mistake of loving him.
There is a brighter day ahead.

One day you will thank him for walking
out.
And he will be wishing he had never left.

Give it up and quit wallowing in the pit
of despair he left you in.
