Fear of the unknown
Chills running up and down
my spine.
Cold sensations of something
bad coming to my doorstep.
Unknown fear.....
Fear of the unknown.

Waves of emotion washing over
me.
Tears falling like rain against
my cheek.
Fear takes it's hold upon my soul.
Fear of the unknown rocks my
very existence.

Slipping into the darkness of the
comforting night.
Letting it wrap me in it's embrace.
The silence now replaces the fear
that surrounded my life.
Closing the door to what once was
and opening a door to what lies
ahead.

Unknown fear.....
Fear of the unknown....
