~~Doggone That Wild Wood Weed ~~

 

Parked on a hill with the top
rolled down.
Music blaring and desires running
wild.

I planned a little "Monkey Business"
and she kept yelling "Johnny Be Good."
She sure didn't mind playing with
"My Ding A Ling".
Got it all excited and it wanted more.

She had me "Reeling And A Rockin"
I just didn't know how I could pull back.
"The Havana Moon" was big and bright.
Then she shocked me by jumping out of
the car and yelling loudly "You Can't Catch Me".

Well this "Brown Eyed Handsome" man
was hot on her trail and all the while
she was giggling and running.
Next thing knew came to a dead stop.
Shaking in her tracks she cries out
there's "Spiders and Snakes" in that grass.

"Oh Baby Doll" you're ok I will keep you
safe.
Come on back to the car and you can play
with "My Ding A Ling" and it will get your
mind off those terrible "Spiders and Snakes."

 

Now that "Sweet Little Rock & Roller" is my
wife.
We live in "Memphis" and she never tells me
"Johnny Be Good".
